In the current climate of isolation imposed by the virus, this initiative is not only critical in helping to maintain the emotional health of a growing number of people, but it is undoubtedly a noble venture by some highly empathetic people. As someone who has more than a passing understanding of mental health issues, I was motivated to salute the founder as well as his marvellous team in Taskeen, and wish them the best of results in this excellent venture. InshaAllah, many a quiet prayer of thanks will come their way from desperate members of the public.
